Rania Jamal: portfolio website and AEO, GEO and SEO for a Saudi growth marketer

In short: Loop2Tech designed, built and launched raniajamal.me for Rania Jamal, a growth and performance marketer based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and ran AEO, GEO and SEO for it: structured data and AI crawler access, clean analytics, and a 12-month content plan built around what Saudi buyers ask AI assistants. The whole engagement ran on a fixed budget of USD 1,200.

What the client needed

Rania runs paid acquisition on Meta, Google and TikTok, along with the market research that tells a startup or SME where to point its spend. Her work lived in a CV and a LinkedIn profile, and neither of those answers a buyer who searches for help or asks ChatGPT who to hire.

She needed three things: a site that presents her results and services clearly, a way to publish articles every month without calling a developer, and a plan for what to write so the site earns visibility in Google and in AI answers over time.

Why we built it on Laravel rather than as a static page

A static one-page portfolio would have been cheaper on day one and expensive every month after it. Rania plans to blog monthly, and every post on a static site means a developer edit.

We built the site on Laravel with a private admin panel, using the same publishing approach as the Loop2Tech blog. She writes in a visual editor, sets the title, description and cover image herself, and the site updates its sitemap and structured data automatically. The visual design comes from a licensed premium theme, reworked to her own palette and logo, with the theme's heavy scripts replaced by a small, fast script of our own.

What we built

Page or featureWhat it does
HomeHer positioning, selected results with employer logos, the services she offers and her latest articles
Work with meWho she works with, six services with deliverables, three ways to engage, her process and an FAQ
BlogMonthly articles she publishes herself, each with Article structured data naming her as author
ContactA form that saves every message in her admin panel and emails a copy to her business inbox
Admin panelPosts, cover images, SEO fields and contact messages with an unread count

The site has a light and dark mode, loads its CV download from the admin, and keeps her phone number and street address off the public pages. Deployment is automatic: a push to the main branch runs the tests, deploys to the server and applies any database changes.

The contact form

Contact forms on small sites fail quietly. The email bounces, nobody notices, and the enquiry is lost. This form stores the message in the database first and only then tries to send the email, so a mail outage never loses a lead. It also blocks spam bots with a hidden field and limits how often one visitor can submit.

The AEO, GEO and SEO work

The build was half the job. The other half was making sure the right people can find her: in Google through SEO (search engine optimisation), in direct AI answers through AEO (answer engine optimisation), and in answers ChatGPT and Perplexity assemble from several sources through GEO (generative engine optimisation).

Technical foundations for search and AI answers

  • Structured data (code that tells search engines and AI tools who she is and what she offers) on every page: Person, ProfilePage, ProfessionalService, Article, ContactPage and FAQPage.
  • An llms.txt file, a plain-text profile written for AI assistants that lists her pages, services and articles and updates itself when she publishes.
  • A robots.txt file that explicitly allows the search crawlers of ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google, Apple and Bing to read the site, while keeping the admin area private.
  • Share images and page metadata so links look right on LinkedIn and WhatsApp, where most of her referrals arrive.

We explain why these pieces matter in our guide to llms.txt and in our AEO, GEO and SEO service.

Measurement that counts each visit once

We installed Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 so she can see where visitors come from and which pages lead to enquiries. Shortly after launch, visits were being counted twice because Analytics was loading both directly and through Tag Manager. We removed the direct tag so every visit now reaches Analytics once, through Tag Manager only. Inflated numbers are worse than no numbers, because they lead to wrong decisions about where to spend.

A 12-month AI search content plan

We delivered a content plan built around 15 questions that Saudi buyers ask AI assistants when looking for marketing help. It covers three customer types (startups and SMEs, brands and marketing teams, and companies entering Saudi Arabia), with ten article ideas for each and a publishing calendar from November 2026 to October 2027.

The first article from the plan, a comparison of Snapchat, TikTok, Meta and Google advertising in Saudi Arabia, went live with the site, with a custom cover image.

Budget and timeline

The engagement was quoted and delivered at a fixed USD 1,200, covering design, development, hosting setup, the business email connection, the AEO, GEO and SEO setup, analytics, the content plan and the first article. The first version went live within days of the theme being chosen, and the remaining pages followed in the same week.

Fixed pricing worked here because the scope was clear before we started: a known theme, content taken from her CV, and a defined list of pages. Where the scope is less certain, we start with a paid scoping step instead of guessing.

Who this kind of build suits

This setup fits consultants, freelancers and specialists whose next client is likely to search their name or ask an AI assistant who to hire. It suits people who will publish regularly. If you will never update the site, a simpler static page costs less and serves you just as well, and we will tell you so.

If you want a site that you can run yourself, with AEO, GEO and SEO built in from day one, our web development service covers the build and a short conversation is enough for a fixed quote.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a portfolio website with a blog cost?

This Loop2Tech project, a portfolio site with a self-managed blog, contact form, search and AI search setup, analytics and a 12-month content plan, was delivered for a fixed USD 1,200. Price depends mainly on the number of pages, whether a premium theme is used, and how much marketing setup is included alongside the build.

Can I publish blog posts on my portfolio site myself?

Yes. Rania's site has a private admin panel with a visual editor, where she writes posts, uploads a cover image and sets the search title and description. The sitemap, llms.txt file and structured data update automatically, so publishing needs no developer.

What is an llms.txt file and does a personal website need one?

An llms.txt file is a plain-text summary of a website written for AI assistants, listing its key pages and what each covers. It costs almost nothing to add. On this site it lists her pages, services and articles, and rebuilds itself whenever she publishes.

Why were Google Analytics visits being counted twice?

Analytics was loading twice: once through its own tag and once through Google Tag Manager, so each visit was recorded two times. Loop2Tech removed the direct tag and kept Tag Manager as the single route into Analytics, which is the setup we recommend for any site that may add more tracking later.

What is an AI search content plan?

An AI search content plan lists the questions potential clients ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, then maps an article to each so the site becomes a source those tools can cite. Rania's plan covers 15 Saudi buyer questions, three customer types and a monthly calendar for twelve months.
